5 Surefire Traffic Firestarters

Category : Online Marketing

It’s obvious to most business owners, online marketers and sales people alike that “more customers” is key. For most businesses today, that translates to “more traffic” online. There are many ways you can increase traffic on your business website, and in this post, I’ll give you 5 powerful Surefire Traffic Firestarters.

Keep Traffic flowing, like in the above picture.

1. Advertise Yourself

This one is the top of the head choice, so we’re going to look at it first. Paid online search, social media advertising and display advertising are all awesome ways to attract visitors, build up your brand image and get your site in front of people. Adjust your paid strategies to suit your business needs – do you just want increased traffic, or are you looking to increase conversions as well? Each paid medium has pros and cons, so think carefully about your goals before you put 5 on it.

Conversions are the best types of traffic, and for that, you’ll need to target high commercial intent keywords as part of your paid search strategy. These search terms can often be saturated and expensive, but the payoffs can be huge if played right.

2. Social Media It Up

Even if your content is genuine, real, and really good, you still have to work to get people to check it out. One of the best ways to increase traffic to your website for free is to use social media channels to promote your content. Twitter is good for quick and short links (make them tempting), although Google+ promotion can help your site show up in personalized search results and has proven effective in B2B markets. If you’re a B2C product company, like a sandwich shop or something, you might find you’ll get a reaction with image-centric social sites such as Pinterest and Instagram.

3. Make More Comments

It’s probably the case that you visit websites related to your business field anyway, so you should starScreen Shot 2015-11-05 at 11.06.12 AMt chiming in more and becoming a “part of the community”. Commenting is not like advertising, but more like Public Relations. Many people don’t realize the power of Public Relations today, although most people wouldn’t eat bacon, or smoke cigarettes if it wasn’t for the genius tactics used in PR. Commenting with insight and good information will build credibility for your name, and will help foster a strong band image. When commenting, the quality and relevance of your comments are key – you should be engaging with other people in your industry, not dropping spam links on unrelated websites.

4. Make a Media Salad

All content has value, and if you only focus on blog posts, or only videos, or only pictures, it will be more difficult to get traffic using those methods.. For that reason, vary the format of your content so that it’s as appealing as possible to different kinds of readers and viewers alike. use short and long blog posts as well as video, infographics, pictures and data-driven pieces for maximum impact. You’ll notice that I’ve uploaded a video to this blog post as well. I’ve also included images, and broken up the text by using larger and smaller text sizes.

5. Use your Analytics Data to Your Advantage

Eventually, you’ll get some traffic if you use these techniques, and with that traffic you can use Google Analytics (which is completely free to use) to research HOW people are interacting with your website. This will help you determine what web posts are more exciting than others. Google Analytics is an invaluable source of data on just about every single section of your site, from your most viewed pages to visitor information and demographics. Keep a close eye on your Analytics data, and use that information to inform your promotional and content campaigns. Pay attention to what posts and pages are gaining the most views. Use your traffic visitor data to see how, where and when your site traffic is coming from.

What is Hosting?

Category : Blog , Online Marketing

So What’s Hosting?

Hosting is like the house for your website.

It’s like your space that you live in. You can rent apartment-style hosting, called shared hosting, you can rent bigger spaces with a dedicated server, like renting a house. Only your website will live on that server. This is called Dedicated Hosting.

You can even set up your own server from home! This way you wouldn’t have to rent any space from any company, only pay for the electricity and internet at your home.

Hosting is necessary for all websites, no website can live without a home. Most people rent hosting, and for that, probably shared hosting since most websites aren’t massive, like Since they are not so big, they don’t need that much space.

Nice to meet you!

Category : Blog , Online Marketing

Hey there, my name is Sebastian Kingcrown. Kingcrown isn’t really my last name, but I chose it because it’s more “brand-able”. I’m a recent college graduate with Honor Cords from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.

50260220_00801_0527_MediumI majored in Strategic Communications with a business management minor. That’s just a fancy way of saying “Advertising & Marketing”. I love what I do. Most of the people I went to school with, and graduated with had dreams of working their way up in some big shot ad firm, but I didn’t feel like working for someone else. I drank up as much of the information about marketing and advertising as I could so that I could use it all to market myself and my expertise online. The internet is the future, and I chose to hop on early.

…I’ve always been interested in Business:

Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve always tried to think of new ways to make money and to “win” per se. I’ve always felt like business owners are the winners in life. They work hard and their work pays off for them, therefore they can choose what they want to do with their lives. I wanted that.

I sold Cutco, I’ve sold home alarms, worked retail, bussed restaurants, fast food, hard labor and the rest. Speckled in between I’ve always found a way to sell something that people wanted, whether it was a need or a want, I found the sale.

I decided to truly make Small Business and Online marketing consulting my full-time career, and was born.

I graduated in May 2015, and since then, I’ve been traveling. I visited family in Washington for about a month, then Redlands California, El Paso, Dallas, Austin, and Houston Texas.

The picture to the left is me in Seattle this past June. We went to a recording studio with a local rapper. Before I started, I started a small magazine publication for Tacoma, Washington. This side project has helped me learn about advertising offline and in the real world. Owning a magazine gives me even more advertising flexibility than just being an online marketer.

This has all been door after door of opportunity opening for me because I chose to ditch the 9-5 job earning profits for another person. Just over two years ago, I decided online marketing would be my career, and I haven’t looked back since.

If you’d like to learn how to do the same and take control of your own life today, sign up for my Free Webinar and download my Free eBook today. I’ll show you how to start making money online (and offline) from the ground up. Let my college education and real world offline experience work for you like it’s worked for me, and I’m not even charging anything for these awesome tools.
